"The History of Montenegro: from ancient times to 2003"

Montenegro Diaspora Centre has just (2006) published new, and most complete to date history of Montenegro. "The History of  Montenegro: from ancient times to 2003" is written by renown and fruitful Montenegrin historians Dr. Zivko Andrijasevic and Dr. Serbo Rastoder. The former has written the first part of the book covering the period from "ancient times to the Balkan Wars" while the latter has written in part two about "Twentieth Century Montenegro".

The book is contemporaneous and concise reading full of arguments. It is written 'objectively without ignoring or glossing facts even in cases when detailing activities of creators of our daily life'. The contribution and innovations in writing of this book is in the fact that it simultaneously explains state building and political verticality of Montenegrin nation. In other words, it covers period of wars from one hand and social, cultural and religious life of people of Doclea, Zeta, and finally Montenegro, on the other.*

There are two versions of the book; one in English (300 pages) and the other in Montenegrin (528 pages). Both versions are hard cover, well illustrated and designed. The books could be bought directly from the Montenegro Diaspora Centre for 20 Euros only plus p.p. from the following address:
