It was 6 April 1943 in the nice village of “Sienica” (today Cjehnua). At that time there were Italian troupes in Montenegro, but despite the war, relation with
local people was good.

It was 2:30 p.m. when my father, one of the italian military, had the impression to see the hand of a baby in the small river near the castle. He immediately
jumped in the water and saved the baby, a female of few months.

The best gift I can give my father is to organize a meeting with the woman that should now have 60-61 years old. My father feels that she is still alive, despite
the time.

I’m organizing the tourist trip in Montenegro this 2004 summer, and I will be extremely pleased if someone can help me with any information we can use to get
in touch with that woman or woman’s family.
